PINARELLO SHOWCASED THEIR FIRST E-BIKE; ANDROMEDA, BACK IN OCTOBER, BUT HAVE SURPRISED US WITH ANOTHER e-bike

This was unexpected, but the Italian bicycle manufacturer which recently joined the eBike market earlier this year, have revealed an additional model dubbed ‘NYTRO’. The eRoadie is an electric bike that houses the latest Fazua technology which was also found in the Focus Raven² Pro.

The NYTRO is based off the signature Pinarello Dogma F10 road frame featuring T700 Carbon Fibre making up the asymmetric frame. Thanks to the lightweight frame and Fazua technology, the bike has a total weight of 13kg. This is even lighter than the Focus Raven² Pro which weighed in at 14.2kg. To put this in perspective, most electric bikes are around the 20kg mark.

Judging from the motor specifications, this eBike is street legal with a maximum pedal assistance speed capped at 25km/h. The battery possesses a capacity of 252Wh which is on par as Focus’ offering as well as the 250W nominal motor.

There will be five sizes which will start at €6,000 (approximately $9,300AUD) and increase from there depending on configuration. Unfortunately the release will only see Europe, with no word on expanded releases. For full specifications see below or check out Pinarello’s site.
