i think it’s missing a few buttons to be called a remote ctrl

Kona Remote CTRL

The team from eMTB News have snapped up some pics of the upcoming eMTB from Kona. We’ve seen the eBike before with some pictures floating around Sea Otter Classic, but nothing in detail until now. Originally with only hard-tail eBikes in their line-up, the American bike manufacturer have finally added a Bosch CX equipped dual suspension electric bike. Cleverly dubbed the Remote CTRL (the hardtail eBike was called Kona Remote), the eMTB is loaded with 150mm and 145mm front and rear travel respectively; thanks to the RockShox Revelation and RockShox Monarch Plus RC3 suspension.

According to Kona, the eBike’s geometry should be similar to their Kona Process. So for those who ride or are a big fan of the Process model, this may be perfect for you. Sizes will be available from small to extra large, and officially release starting around June or July 2018.

Kona E-Ute

But wait, there’s more! a whole lot more of space with the kona e-ute

Alongside the Remote CTRL, Kona showed off their upcoming cargo bike as well called the Kona E-Ute. It’s equipped with SRAM X5 drivetrain and a Bosch mid drive motor. No confirmation on the exact motor, but I’m assuming it will be a Performance Line. Sizing and release are still unknown with the E-Ute.
